Statement:
Year 5 marks the move for children from lower to upper Key Stage 2. It is an exciting year for the children. The essence of this year is to build upon previous learning; to provide the children with a wide variety of opportunities to develop and apply new skills; to develop independence and to encourage children to seek out and accept greater responsibility.
Year 5 children will participate in many curriculum enhancement activities and trips, including the popular K'Nex Challenge, Kenya Day, SkillZone, Cooking workshops, Ancient Egyptian Day, Ashmolean Museum, Science Festival and Tewkesbury Medieval Festival!
